Assembler - Fleet - 1st Shift


Individual will be responsible for the production and/or assembly of component parts into

completed units, maintains production and quality standards under minimal supervision.


Include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Responsible for the assembly or production of component parts into completed units within blueprint specification and/or design tolerances.

  • Maintains acceptable performance standards for assembly, production, quality, safety, and housekeeping.

  • Performs minor adjustments, repairs, or setups to equipment or machines under supervision.

  • Inspects parts or completed units by using visual inspection, gages, tape measures, check fixtures, calipers, or other inspection equipment.

  • Performs a variety of assembly or production duties with minimal supervision.

  • Responsible to see that air tools used are placed into proper storage cabinets daily.

  • Performs all other assigned duties as instructed by supervision.



Must have a minimum of High School Degree or GED.


  • 6 months-3 years related manufacturing or assembly experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must possess mechanical aptitude and skills.


  • General ability to identify manufacturing materials, hardware and tools.

  • Can read blueprints or group drawings that explain the assembly process.

  • Must have ability to use shop related tools and equipment.

  • MRP or ERP experience preferred.

  • Continuous standing, sitting, lifting, bending and stooping.

  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs. and more with assistance.
