SUMMARY:

The Compensation Analyst will serve as the subject matter expert to the HR team from a compensation perspective. They will be responsible for evaluating salary grades and structures as well as providing compensation recommendations to HR Business Partners for promotions, transfers, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement recommendations for improvements to existing and/or new compensation programs, policies and procedures, which incorporate a global mindset and maintain a competitive advantage for the organization.

  • Responsible for knowledge and application of employment legislation in pay practices including DOL, EEO, OFCCP, and FLSA and international regulations in countries where we have employees. Responsible for action to correct any non-compliant issues identified.

  • Responsible for completing and ensuring job evaluations and results are in compliance with FLSA, overtime is monitored and paid according to FLSA and DOL, adverse impact analyses for compensation plans are conducted and analyzed.

  • Assist in managing the strategy and administration of pay plans (merit, incentive compensation), job evaluations/market pricing, retention agreements, incentive plans, relocation/field assignments and special payments for employed domestic, international and executive employees.

  • Closely align administration and strategic practices with Textron corporate and other Textron Specialized Vehicles organizations including global and service sites.

  • Work with HR leaders to ensure policies and practices are aligned across the HR organization especially where used in pay practices -such as performance management /calibration.

  • Administer and implement the annual merit planning process conducted through the Rewards Planner tool.

  • Develop and execute the delivery of communication materials on a variety of compensation programs, policies and procedures.

Qualifications

CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to maintain sensitive and confidential information.

  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels.

  • Finance or compensation experience not required but beneficial

  • Basic knowledge of human resources policies and practices

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, some macros, etc.)

  • Excellent time management skills and critical thinking/problem solving

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or other related field

  • 0-2 years of experience in a related field is preferred
