District Sales Manager- Arizona, Nevada and California



Thisposition is responsiblefor managing EZGO/PTV dealer sales performance and market position within theWest Region (AZ, CA, NV). The District Sales Manager (DSM) is responsible fordeveloping new sales opportunities, both through the existing dealer networkand direct accounts or by proactively developing new dealers and directaccounts. This person will train and develop dealers and distributorsthroughout the region that will promote EZGO, and Cushman brands.The DSM has overall responsibility for theachievement of set regional sales goals & marketing objectives relevant tothe Consumer Business.


  • Prospecting and establishment of new dealersto support products relevant to the Consumer Business.

  • Ensure all dealers & distributorsmeet Territory Unit and New Dealer objectives.

  • Manage dealer & distributor salestraining.

  • Maintain sales & marketinformation within CRM platform

  • Coordinating dealer terminations withlegal liaison and approval from Director of Sales.

  • Forecasting of New Unit Sales forConsumer Branded Vehicles for the territory on a monthly and annual basis viaSIOP.

  • Complete territory sales report on amonthly basis via MMR.

  • Process all vehicle orders in a timelymanner on approved order forms via Order Entry.

  • Attend shows and or expositionsrelevant to the territory and Commercial Business.

  • Ensure product knowledge and trainingskills are qualified to successfully promote the products and train dealersales personnel.

  • RepresentsTextron Specialized Vehicles at trade shows, bid openings, and conferences asneeded and applicable.

  • Responsible for relaying informationto other company personnel concerning possible field product problems.

  • Perform direct commercial andindustrial sales as required to manage territory growth.

  • Perform territory competitive analysisto support sales planning.

  • Provide competitive intelligence toDirector of Sales on product trends, competitive programs and other marketintelligence to support Consumer sales efforts.

  • Perform distribution gap analysis tosupport dealer development actions/planning.

  • Provide input to the management teamon development of new product or service features that will meet current andfuture customer needs.

  • Develop and implement plans andstrategies to cultivate new business opportunities.

  • Collaborate with internal departmentsin the development and implementation of strategies, plans, and businessmodels.

  • Frequent overnight travel in order toservice and satisfy customer needs.

  • Perform special projects as assignedby management.

  • Perform all duties in accordance withthe Textron Business Conduct Guidelines



  • The successful candidate must already reside in Arizona, California or Nevada or be willing to relocate without financial assistance

  • 2-3 years relevant experience, preferably in Consumer markets or graduate of Textron Specialized Vehicles Sales Development Program.

  • Must have knowledge of financial activities (budgeting, forecasting, financial statement analysis)

  • Must have strong communication, negotiation and organizational skills

  • Must be capable of interfacing effectively with the other functional areas of the Company (i.e., Finance, Marketing, Manufacturing and Engineering)

  • Must have the ability to develop and execute effective sales programs

  • Must possess solid leadership ability and strong verbal and written skills

  • Must be a highly capable negotiator and be able to establish strong relationships with suppliers and customers

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com preferred

  • Ability to multi-task and deal with tight timelines


Bachelor'sdegree from four-year college or university or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.
