POSITION DETAILS

SUMMARY:

The SAP MM / WM Analyst will provide support and oversight for the Textron Specialized Vehicles SAP MM / WM environment.The role will assist in the deployment of strategic projects, continuous improvements, training, and tools and will assist in identifying and closing gaps in process and system capabilities.This role will work closely with functional teams to ensure that process designs support operational and reporting requirements and will serve as a key liaison between the Information Technology Department and the Integrated Supply Chain user community.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ØSupport the design and development of SAP MM / WM configuration and business processes and procedures.Develop deeper SAP MM / WM skills and understanding of interaction between SAP MM / WM and the supply chain.

ØUnderstand emerging technologies and upgrade features for business processes and assist in making implementation recommendations.

ØSupport production configuration and assist in functional change requests.

ØAssist with responding to user requirements, problem resolution, develop designs, and process modeling.

ØDemonstrate proof of concept.

ØBuild and support interfaces to third party systems

ØPerform initial testing of problem fixes, change requests, enhancements, and new functionality.

ØAssist with training activities.

ØWork with BASIS and ABAP personnel to define custom program specifications and trouble shooting.

ØKeep current on SAP releases, enhancements / new functionality, and perform application research.

ØParticipate in release upgrades or new functionality / enhancement assessments and make recommendations.

ØPerform break / fix analyses and recommend solutions for related processes.

ØProvide expertise into the definition and resolution of key integration areas.

Qualifications

CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Ø Bachelor's degree in IT

Ø Minimum 5 years experience

Ø Good SAP ERP knowledge and/or certification

Ø Knowledge of a manufacturing environment preferred

Ø Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills

Ø Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ø Good customer service skills

Ø Solid project management skills and team-oriented interpersonal skills

Ø Ability to work in a matrix organization
