TheTerritory Sales Manager (TSM) is responsible for developing new salesopportunities through the existing distributor network and direct accounts.This person will train and develop dealers and distributors throughout theregion that will promote the Aftermarket Parts & Accessories Business.The TSM has overall responsibility for theachievement of set regional sales goals & marketing objectives relevant tothe Aftermarket P&A Business.
Ensure all dealers & distributorsmeet set objectives.
Manage dealer & distributor salestraining.
Maintain sales & market information withinCRM platform
Coordinating floor plan level change requestswith Twin City Financial (TCF) and ensure dealers maintain adequate floor-plancredit lines.
Coordinating dealer terminations withlegal liaison and approval from Director of Sales.
Forecasting of parts and accessoriessales on a monthly basis via SIOP.
Complete territory sales report on amonthly basis via MMR.
Attend shows and or expositionsrelevant to the territory and Aftermarket P&A Business.
Ensure product knowledge and trainingskills are qualified to successfully promote the products and train dealersales personnel.
Perform direct parts and accessoriessales as required to manage territory growth.
Perform territory competitive analysisto support sales planning.
Provide competitive intelligence toDirector of Sales on product trends, competitive programs and other marketintelligence to support Aftermarket Parts & Accessories sales efforts.
Perform distribution gap analysis tosupport dealer development actions/planning.
Provide input to the management teamon development of new product or service features that will meet current andfuture customer needs.
Develop and implement plans andstrategies to cultivate new business opportunities.
Collaborate with internal departmentsin the development and implementation of strategies, plans, and businessmodels.
Perform special projects as assignedby the Director of Sales, Aftermarket.
Perform all duties in accordance withthe Textron Business Conduct Guidelines
The successful candidate must already reside in Augusta, GA or be willing to relocate without financial assistance
Must have strong knowledge of financial activities (budgeting, forecasting, financial statement analysis)
Must have strong communication, negotiation and organizational skills
Must be capable of interfacing effectively with the other functional areas of the Company (i.e., Finance, Marketing, Manufacturing and Engineering)
Must have the ability to develop and execute effective sales programs
Must possess solid leadership ability and strong verbal and written skills
Must be a highly capable negotiator and be able to establish strong relationships with suppliers and customers
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com required
Ability to multi-task and deal with tight timelines
Bachelorsdegree preferred; Associates degree and minimum ten years of relevantexperience will be considered.
