  • Acts in a direct support capacity as a representative of Textron Corporation and pursues company objectives at the customer location.

  • Provides technical and doctrinal expertise to Gray Eagle UAS system end users.

  • Utilizes effective and professional communications to provide technical and logistical mentorship to the customer on a routine basis.

  • Proactively engages in planning and coordination of logistical sustainment and tactical operations

  • Monitors system operational readiness and manages local stock levels.

  • Manages inventory databases and executes supply chain functions to include COLTS.

  • Performs field level repair, including troubleshooting, fault isolation, and the execution of remedial action.

  • Conducts maintenance work orders and technology insertions for Gray Eagle assets

  • Supports the aviation mishap investigation processes and develops estimated cost of damage (ECOD)

  • Work in groups or independently with no supervision.

  • Travel and deploy worldwide with military forces as required; minimum 50% with a maximum of 100%.

  • Will at times be required to work odd shifts, weekends, and/or extended hours

  • Practices ISO 9001 principles and concepts

  • Provides general logistics functions to include shipping and receiving of Hazardous Materials.

  • Performs upgrades to enhance system capabilities and provide additional features.

  • Troubleshoots technical problems and issues and determines technical solutions.

  • Responsible for data management and generation.

  • Responsible for accurate and timely maintenance record keeping

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

2 Year Degree or a minimum of four years of related experience.

Operation, maintenance, and repair of electronics to the component level.

  • Experience in maintenance and repair of equipment related to S280/MGCS shelters.

  • Experience with basic UNIX networking preferred.

  • Experience with Cisco and Juniper router protocols highly desired Raid Drives, Virtual Machines (VM)

  • Experience with COLTs data base preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Prior military service in aviation maintenance disciplines is a desired plus.

  • Ability to quickly learn through on-the-job training and independent study

  • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation; and ability to evaluate, isolate, and repair malfunctions.

  • Ability to conduct one on one and small group training.

  • Familiarity with customer expectations, policies, and business practices and high customer satisfaction orientation.

  • Ability to work independently with no supervision.

  • Must be willing to deploy with military forces in both training and wartime capacities

This position is subject to a variety of physical and atmospheric conditions. This position will require the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position is subject to oils. This position is subject to working conditions peculiar to the particular assignment. (e.g., required to perform work-related travel worldwide and may include accompanying DOD forces into hardship and combat areas with little notice for extended periods of time.) This position will involve exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 20 pounds of force constantly. Visual requirement is the minimum standard for those whose work deals largely with visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and computer terminals; extensive reading and research; and using measuring devices.
