The H.R. Manager, Culture and People Development , reporting directly to the Director, Talent Management, will be responsible for leading the development and execution of Bell Helicopter’s talent programs to drive culture change, such as succession planning and performance management to support the achievement of the strategic business goals of the company.

Primary responsibility is to manage a team responsible for driving organizational performance through effective and consistent utilization of programs, processes, and resources to support growth through the employee lifecycle.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Leads the team which develops and implements Bell Helicopter’s talent strategy and integrates Textron’s enterprise talent objectives.

  • Oversees the design and implementation of people strategies, including the annual company-wide talent review process, monthly talent focus with executive leaders, succession planning, performance reviews, and related systems.

  • Works with leaders to align programs and processes to build the organization’s capability through effective talent development and change management.

  • Consult and advise on engagement and retention efforts across the organization.

  • Builds partnerships with business leadership and HR partners to increase consistency and capability to align our talent strategy and manage change effectively.

  • Ensures successful implementation of coaching, team building and assessment programs

Qualifications

A successful candidate will have strong human resources talent management leadership experience and business acumen. They will possess a blend of general business and organizational change strategy competencies, proven talent development leadership, and leadership coaching skills.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field required (e.g., Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, or related discipline).

o Master’s Degree preferred

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 8 years’ experience leading a talent management to include organizational development and change management within a global or matrix organization.

  • Demonstrated success in building trusting relationships at all levels of the organization, including senior executives.

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Possess the ability to maximize the potential of the team, effectively organizing the team’s efforts, investing in the team’s development, and creating a compelling vision inspiring outstanding performance.
