Description

This position provides non-engineering, technical supportto all Engineering R&D groups required to facilitate workflow, processimprovements, and effective execution of deadline-driven tasks.

  • Responsibilities:

  • Supportsystem access and business process role requests using: RBARs, WebCAR, JIRA, orSharePoint.

  • Maintainthe Engineering records vault digitization and data file transfer processes.

  • Providenew hire onboarding orientation, internship & co-op preparation, orfacility tour coordination.

  • ProcessSAP Purchase Request/Order & Ariba purchases for software renewal, bookorder, office supply & equipment orders, etc.

  • Providefacility layout and Plant Work Request (PWR) for rearrangement planning andcoordination.

  • Maintainassets including telephone, computer, & software requests, computerchargeback and return, and manage training and temporary assets.

  • MaintainEngineering Policy and Procedures (P&P), coordinate with the EngineeringProcess Review Board (EPRB), and disseminate Engineering EPRB and P&Pinformation.

  • Maintaingeneral business operations including the technology hub, special projectsupport, engineering data support, and route documents for Engineering release.

  • MaintainEngineering data integrity and support data migration efforts.

  • ProvideEngineering Data Management support when necessary requiring the ability usedata systems including ENOVIA, Bedvue, MoveItDMZ, Sell2Bell, Nexprise, etc.

  • Proofread,revise, and support the release of Engineering documentation.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA is required.

Position Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel andPowerPoint) and able to learn new software.

  • Working knowledge of relational orobject-oriented databases and data management.

  • Candidate must demonstrate solid communicationskills to be able to collaborate and/or exchange complex information withindustry and internal professionals across all organizational levels.

  • Candidate should be highly organized andefficient.

  • Some travel may be required (<5%)
