Senior Aero Logistics Engineer
The Sr Aero Logistics Engineer is accountable for the technical contributions necessary to develop and maintain affordable and supportable military weapon systems.This position provides the analysis and technical coordination necessary to develop affordable and sustainable military weapon systems.
Support the development of technical data products within the Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
Provide weekly project updates to leadership for EVMS reporting.
Review, assess, and incorporate approved engineering and customer directed changes.
Perform to established quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
Comply with company policies and procedures.
Understand Logistics data products.
Comprehend and adhere to contract requirements.
This position interacts directly with both internal and external customers to include:
Engineering technical teams, both BHTI and USG
Business Operations (Cost/Schedule Analysts and Integrated Program Schedulers)
BHTI Logistics teams from other platforms/programs.
On-site Resident Integrated Logistics Support Detachment (RILSD) Marines
USG Fleet Support Team (FST), Naval Aviation Supply (NAVSUP), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA)
Logistics Program leadership
On-time delivery of high quality Logistics data products as assigned by IPT Leadership that may include one or more of the following:
Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
Failure Mode Effects & Critical Analysis (FMECA) updates
Updates to provisioning records
Task and Maintenance Plan Analysis
Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) or Paper-based manual (task development or update) as applicable
Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB)
Identification of Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) requirements
Packaging Handling Storage &Transportation (PHS&T)
Input to project schedule development and weekly progress updates
Analysis and assessment of engineering or customer directed changes to Logistics Products
Completion of individual career file update and self-assessment of performance
On-time completion of all required compliance training

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Bachelor’s or Associates Degree is preferred.
Airframe & Powerplant license, FAA or FCC certification is preferred.
Experience preferred in one or more of the following Logistics disciplines: 4 years of aviation maintenance experience (military or civilian), or 4 years of supportability engineering, logistics support analysis, or technical publications development.
Candidate must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills and must be familiar with Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, as well as one or more of the following: SLICwave, EAGLE 2B, Arbortext or equivalent software.
Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
