Textron Production Manager in Guangzhou Tank, China
Manage the center Operations Guangzhou as an independent unit (Blowmoulding and Assembly center) in terms of cost, timing and quality targets
Support the achievement of all AOP targets in alignment with the defined strategy and overall targets
Create a Continuous Improvement culture to ensure safety, quality and productivity
Ensure that for all employees all HR development requirements and activities are in place and gaps closed in terms of the resp. center, e.g. CRC, ePMP and Trainings incl. IDP, job descriptions and qualification.
Cascading targets and strategy goals and objectives to all direct reports
Set up and tracking of center targets and control of goal achievement via key figures and benchmarks
Identify cost reductions potentials and check monthly achievement
Management of local customer relationships and requirements
Organisation and control of the implementation and use of all regulations related to assigned center responsibility laid out by the legislator of the employer, eg business organisation, working time organisation, work safety laws, operational safety orders, accident prevention guidelines, environmental laws, work place guidelines, building regulations, technical regulations for fire prevention etc. To ensure corporate/segment initiatives are implemented with in the plant and that progress is monitored (SixSigma, PMP, etc).
Support nominating investment plans, nominating investment proposals.
Support all new launches with the headquarter (project and production)
Develop robust supply partnership, modern supply chain and materials management techniques.

EHS&Quality: Ensures that all specific issues regarding EHS and quality are implemented and observed in accordance with OHSAS 18001 and TS 16949.\
Identification of critical processes, target development and tracking according to assigned center.
Dismissal of employees, initiate disciplinary action where necessary (in accordance with legal and company requirements)
Notification requirement by accidents, quality problems and unschedules financial problems to Plant Manager.
University or college degree in Engineering or comparable
Minimum 3 years experience with leadership tasks and responsibilities
Experience in leading a production
International customer contact preferred to Nissan, Toyota, Fiat
IT skills (MS Office, SAP) are needed
Chinese and English language skills are needed
