About Electronic Systems

Textron Systems Electronic Systems designs and develops test and simulation software and hardware for Electronic Warfare (EW). This includes systems that can be used on the flight line or on the range to simulate enemy radar or missile threats for the purpose of testing aircraft electronics and sensors, or for training the pilot.

Overview

Our Test Engineer internship within our Electronic Systems organization will provide students with real world assignments that bring real value to the business, on-the-job and formal training, as well as exposure to and work experience in different functional areas. Candidates develop a strong Manufacturing Operations foundation and acquire leadership skills and cross-functional process knowledge.

Selected candidates have the opportunity to experience professional growth in a challenging environment and establish a network of peers and mentors.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop repeatable and reproducible assembly, inspection, and test instructions

  • Identify efficiency opportunities,

  • Conduct technician training and certification, and

  • Lead effective root cause and corrective action activities both internally and with our suppliers

Education:

Undergraduate currently pursuing a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain functions.
