Job Summary:

The Communications Business Partner will workside-by-side with the business’s functional organizations including HumanResources, Information Technology, Legal, Finance and Integrated Supply Chain –interpreting their business strategies into logical, creative, executable andmeasurable communications campaigns. Reporting to the Manager, CorporateCommunications & Digital Marketing, this position is part of the corporateMarketing & Communications team, and will require strong cross-functionalcollaboration to deliver innovative and measurably successful outcomes.


  • Partner with functional organizations through arepeatable cadence of stakeholder touch points to understand their strategic goalsand objectives for both employee and external stakeholders

  • Based on these requirements, work with thebroader Marketing & Communications team to develop, execute, measure andcontinuously improve internal and external communications campaigns utilizingthe spectrum of content channels at the company’s disposal, and incorporatingthe people-centric and journalistic approach of our Together Stronger employeebrand

  • Ex:Recruitment marketing, EH&S events and safety awareness

  • Maintain a calendar of communications activitiesfor effective tracking over time

  • Work with stakeholders to develop process toassist in alignment on complex, repeatable projects/tasks

  • Other duties as assigned


Experience & Education:

3 years’ experience in Communications or Marketing, witha demonstrated success in stakeholder communications, planning and execution ofcampaigns. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism,Business Administration or related field.


  • Strong project management and organizationalskills

  • Ability to translate varied requirements andinputs into aligned, actionable and measurable activities

  • Demonstrated strength in stakeholder engagementand communication

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

  • Experience using digital content managementsystem

  • Proactive, action-oriented and seizes opportunities

  • Ability to work independently on a project or collaboratively as a team player and able to integrate with a diverse team with varying opinions and ideas

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a variety of styles, formats and channels

  • Trustworthiness to maintain confidentiality of business strategies
