The Financial Analyst creates andmaintains reports and conducts analyses on the information generated fromreports and other ad-hoc requests. With direction from his or her supervisor,the FA will provide support and ensure compliance with our government auditsand both government and Textron financial reporting requirements.
May include assistance with government and/or financial reporting such as:
Assist in the preparation of theannual incurred cost proposals for each of our Segments
Assist in the creation of forwardpricing rate proposal packages
Determine direct and indirect cost allowability/allocability
Provide cost support in response toDCAA audit questions/requests for data
Create and maintain various standardmonthly reports such as overhead, Over/Under absorption, and labor basesreports
Support Management cost inquires andprovide meaningful cost trend analyses
Ensure work products are inaccordance with SOX and Internal Controls
Prepare accurate and completeanalyses of actual and forecasted Sales, NOP, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet
Bachelor's Degree required, degreesin Accounting or Finance preferred.
Minimum 2 years experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Ability to analyze and interpret cost and financial data.
PC proficiency required in Microsoft Office with a strong emphasis on Excel.
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
Must work well in a team environment
Must be a self-starter and work with minimal supervision.
Oracle experience is preferred.
