Responsibilities: (Leadership and individual contributor roles are available)

  • Develop and review technical work products including requirements, design, code, and test

  • Mentor junior staff

  • Work in a diverse cross-functional team to deliver a fully integrated product.

  • Lead execution of software efforts including cost and schedule tracking

  • Lead full life-cycle technical activities of software efforts include requirements, design, implementation, and testing

  • Lead and/or participate in customer reviews and technical meetings

  • Planning of work and resources to accomplish the goals of a project


Technical Skills Desired: (Specific skills needed is role dependent)

  • Experience with agile and iterative software development models

  • Experience with C/C and/or Java

  • Experience with Python

  • Object Oriented Design

  • Windows and/or Linux application development and configuration

  • MS Office

  • Unit testing frameworks (e.g., Googe Test, CppUnit, JUnit)

  • Virtual machines

  • Automated testing

  • Network design/configuration

  • Real-time system/software design

  • Safety-critical system/software design

  • Installation, integration, and testing of COTS/GOTS applications

Other Desired Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience with all phases of the system development lifecycle

  • Experience with all phases of the system development lifecycle

  • Experience or exposure to Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Cost Account Management practices

  • Exposure to unmanned systems, aircraft systems, real-time systems, computerized control stations, and/or military operations and integration

  • Knowledge or familiarity of computer platforms, operating systems, embedded control systems, software, and/or hardware system interfaces

  • Able to solve tasks independently with little to no direction

  • Ability to influence and negotiate with various internal and external stakeholders

  • Self motivated

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Able to present materials to internal and external customers

  • Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment

  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance

Education Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering/Science with 5 years related technical experience
