Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for working with Manager of Trade Shows and Events and other team members on annual tradeshow planning and budgeting supporting Textron Systems

  • Conduct research and analysis of proposed tradeshows and recommend, based on strategic business requirements and customer focus, the optimal mix of domestic/international shows across all business units.

  • On-site management of select high profile shows (travel 15-20% domestic and potentially one or two international events per year).

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of assigned events

  • Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate event and attendee logistics, meeting show organizer deadlines as well as vendor deadlines including housing, badge passes, tradeshow logistics, invitation, graphics, video, shipping, etc

  • Collaborate with events team members and marketing colleagues to offer creative solutions and ideas

  • Plan event with assigned budget in mind, process show related invoices for payment and keep record of the spend using budget tracker tool

  • Provide weekly updates to the tradeshow manager on the status of all projects

  • Develop and update the show plan, coordinate all planning meetings with the key stakeholders pre-show and post-show (including post show survey and ROI analysis report out using ROI tool and trade show app.

  • Help maintain inventory of tradeshow properties and event materials

  • When attending an event, greet customers and new visitors, and act as the Brand Ambassador for Textron Systems to ensure consistent branding and messaging across events and manage staffing and meeting requirements on-site.

  • Utilizethe meeting scheduling system to record customer engagements and manage meetingschedule updates, flow of meetings and use of conference room at select events

  • Interact/coordinateand work with with all levels of management and key stakeholders at variousstages of the event (planning, at show, post show)

  • Otherduties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’sdegree in marketing, management, advertising or related field.

  • 2-3 years ofprofessional experience in marketing communications, events managementexperience preferred, but not required.

  • Mustbe well organized, agile and able to make quick decisions independently, attimes, while at show site

  • Mustpossess the ability to multi-task projects and be extremely detail-oriented.

  • Mustbe forward thinking and on the lookout for new techniques across the tradeshowindustry or ways to elevate our tradeshow program; make recommendations andshare ideas
