General Assembler II


Responsible for the production and/or assembly of component parts into completed units, maintains production and quality standards under minimal supervision.


This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Responsible for the assembly or production of component parts into completed units within blueprint specification and/or design tolerances.

  • Maintains acceptable performance standards for assembly, production, quality, safety, and housekeeping.

  • Performs minor adjustments, repairs, or setups to equipment or machines under supervision.

  • Inspects parts or completed units by using visual inspection, gages, tape measures, check fixtures, calipers, or other inspection equipment.

  • Performs a variety of assembly or production duties with minimal supervision.

  • Responsible to see that air tools used are placed into proper storage cabinets daily.

  • Performs all other assigned duties as instructed by supervision.

  • Works overtime as required by business needs

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School degree or equivalent.

  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
