Looking for an exciting career in Aviation Simulation and Training? TRU Simulation Training is currently seeking King Air Instructor Pilot candidates in Lutz, FL. The King Air Instructor Pilot will be responsible for providingprofessional simulator and ground instruction in accordance with the Company’s Policies, Procedures andTraining Curriculum and maintaining compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations andTransportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements.


  • Perform those flight instructor duties authorized by the FAA and in accordance with the Company’s Training Curriculum.

  • Ensures that all client training records are updated continually throughout each training evolution.

  • Ensures that course standards, training requirements and objectives are met by all assigned students/clients as stipulated in the applicable Training Course Outline.

  • Set an example to all other instructors in providing the highest quality instruction, testing and customer service to our clients.

  • Assist the Director of Training in the development of the Company’s training devices and courseware.

  • Report immediately any discrepancies, violations, non-compliance issues or regulatory concerns that occur with the simulator and courseware as stated in the SWMS manual. Supports the process of continual improvement of TRU's curriculum and courseware.

  • Attend administrative, standardization, in-service training and instructor development meetings as assigned.

  • Maintain and update own Operations Manual and comply with all Company policies.

  • Be an Ambassador for Company’s training model.

  • Keep up with new technologies.



Must have good listening and communication skills. Be able to identify client strengths, weaknesses, and concerns and be able to make appropriate recommendations during the flight and ground courseware.

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Modern aircraft avionics “ie glass cockpit” experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

King Air experience.

Proline Fusion experience.

BE300 type rating.

Part 135 flight experience.

Education / FAA License:

Must hold an Airline Transport Pilot License certificate with airplane, multi-engine land category and class rating, and instrument rating.

Must meet the aeronautical experience requirements of FAR 61.159.
