CNC Mill 2nd Shift



Run, set up, and edit jobs on manual and Mills.


  1. Set up some manual and CNC equipment, ability to prove out and edit some programs

  2. Change basic cutting tools and adjust machine feeds and speeds as needed.

  3. Identify, organize, estimate, and recognize differences or similarities with excellent attention to detail.

  4. Resolve problems by making decisions to correct geometric constraints.

  5. Assist in equipment set up to help eliminate non-conformance and spindle down time.

  6. Perform part inspection and in process inspections

  7. Setup basic inspection tools, including but not limited to: Micrometers, gage blocks

  8. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency



  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Technical school training preferred

  • 1 years manual and/or CNC mill experience required


  • Aerospace, Okuma and Fryer experience is preferred

  • Basic knowledge of machining equipment capabilities, required maintenance, blueprint reading, knowledge of GD&T

  • Basic ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

  • Some skills in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers and other inspection gauges

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to the aerospace industry
