Facilities Technician



Performsprofessional duties in preventive maintenance of the production equipment,operations and maintenance of the physical facilities, and fabrication,modifications or construction as required.


  • Will be responsible for a wide variety ofassigned tasks requiring various levels of expertise and experience in multipletrade skill sets

  • The tech shall complete technical facilities improvementsand projects as assigned, such as electrical installations, electricaltroubleshooting, equipment repairs, and troubleshooting, plumbing, welding,equipment operation, etc.

  • Performs either scheduled or unscheduledmaintenance on machines and facilities equipment.

  • creates material lists for projects

  • Troubleshoots and oversee allelectro-mechanical, hydraulic, refrigeration, heating, and pneumatic systems

  • use and maintain construction equipment and makerecommendations to the Facilities Engineering Manager or Maintenance Managerfor equipment repairs or installations

  • Provides performance reports as requiredto Facilities Manager through appropriate systems.

  • Use and maintain specialty tools required for the job duties

  • Provide task-oriented support for major PM activities asdirected and coordinated by the PM technician and shall complete both major andminor PM activities as assigned by the PM technician or Maintenance Manager

  • Provide other maintenance services or construction projectsas directed by the Facilities Engineering Manager.



High School diploma or equivalent . Associate Degreein related field preferred, or 10 hrs of technical classes, and/or 2 yr fieldexperience

  • 3 year of fieldexperience


  • HVAC license preferred

  • Commercial electrical experience a significant plus

  • Maintainshigh quality of work and craftsmanship

  • Goodcommunication skills, both oral and written, are required.

  • Must have the ability to interface andsupport all departments.

  • Know proper construction and maintenance methods

  • Has an ability to troubleshoot andoversee all electro-mechanical, hydraulic, refrigeration, heating, andpneumatic systems

  • Must be available to work mornings, withoccasional off-hours, weekends, and holiday shifts.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office andGoogle-based programs and computer navigation is a plus

  • Selected candidate will be"hands-on" and will do maintenance work, fabrication, and in-houseprojects

  • Good written and verbal communicationskills Must possess a valid Arizona Driver's License
