Position Summary

  • Ensure that the training provided at United States based ATO (Approved Training Organization) is in compliance with the EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) regulations

  • Full authority over training to be conducted under the ATO certificate

  • Ensures that all instructors meet the prerequisites, qualifications, and training requirements of the EASA regulations.

  • Responsible for development and updating training courses

  • Ensure that the training documentation is processed, stored and filed according to the quality system requirements.

  • Ensures satisfactory integration between theoretical knowledge instruction, flight simulator device training and aircraft training

  • Has the authority to resolve issues and take an implement corrective and preventive actions

  • Assess safety risk for the ATO

  • Attends any audits and ensures any recommendations with respect to the ATO

  • Reports to the Training Center Manager



  • A Bachelor degree in Aviation Management or similar field required

  • 10 or more years of related experience in Aviation

  • Extensive knowledge of EASA requirements is strongly preferred
