AnAssociateScheduler maintains, analyzes, and updates key event and critical path schedules and networks to meet the needs of various company contracts and goals. The schedules, networks, and reports must be implemented in accordance with program proposals, product orders, and customer requests. In addition, scheduling will be compliant with US Government Earned Value Management standards and directives.
Maintain the program’s Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for monthly release to the customers using Primavera Project Manager (P6).
Receive and input status updates from Control Account Managers (CAMs) into the IMS
Document and implement program schedule change controls.
Incorporate Department of the Navy (USN) and Department of Defense (DoD) standards and guidance into the schedule management policy and procedures.
Identify and track Program Critical Path activities.
Plan and report resource information, contingency and risk mitigation plans in the IMS, as requested.
Provide weekly and month end reports on the status and variance of the IMS using earned value management (EVM) principles.
Work with CAMs, team leads, and managers to coordinate updates and support schedule variance reporting.
Analyze internal and subcontractor IMS deliveries for performance.
Format and audit required IMS files for delivery to U.S. Department of Defense or contract partner customers in a variety of electronic formats.
Create and analyze ad hoc program reports and plans and needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Scheduling Management or Business Economics preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in MS Suite software including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
Must be able to interface effectively and efficiently across the organization.
Working knowledge and understanding of cost and schedule project management systems such as Primavera Project Manager, Open Plan or MS Project is a plus.
Working knowledge of Risk or related SRA tool is a plus.
Familiarity with schedules/experience working in an MRP/ERP environment is a plus.
