Textron EHS Analyst in Providence, Rhode Island
Support a broad range of EHS programs including tracking,analyzing and reporting safety, workers compensation, disability, andenvironmental data. Support accounting,audit and compliance programs. Support/Develop/Enhance IT systems and EHS communications.
Track and analyze EHS performance data such as injury rates, workers compensation claims rates, greenhouse gas emissions and energy, waste and water usage.
Assist in the development of internal and external reports
Support Manager Risk Systems in the maintenance and improvement of all EHS IT systems
Collaborate in the development of internal EHS website and SharePoint site
Collaborate in the development of EHS training material
Provide EHS regulatory and technical support to Business Units
Participate in the development of sustainability-related communications materials to support company wide and local facility “green” campaigns.
Support, depending on experience, other EHS department leaders in the areas of wellness, loss prevention and disability management.

Protect and maintain the privacy of employee personnel records including, but not limited to, personal and compensation information about employees.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Good analytical/computer skills (SharePoint,Excel, PowerPoint), database skills a plus
Excellent communications skills
Working knowledge of OSHA and US EPA regulationsand related technical matters
Ability to travel up to 20% of time
OSHA 10 hr or 30 hr training a plus
Bachelor’s Degree in safety, environmentalscience or related equivalent
0 to 2 years practical EHS experience in amanufacturing environment preferable
