Areyou interested in working in a diverse and exciting environment for a large,international conglomerate that operates in a mix of industries? We are lookingfor a key member in our Corporate Accounting & Reporting Group to supportour external reporting and technical accounting team. You will assist with themanagement and preparation of our SEC filings and support our business unit’sfinance teams through research and guidance on technical accounting matters.

Youwill need a strong technical accounting background, excellent interpersonalskills, the ability to tackle problems and prioritize multiple projects, strongattention to detail and proven capability to develop strong workingrelationships with finance teams throughout the company, cross-functionalpartners and various levels of management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the management of the quarterlySEC filing process, including preparation of quarterly calendar anddeliverables schedules

  • Prepare, analyze and review quarterlySEC filing deliverables

  • Ensure compliance with publiccompany disclosure requirements including preparation of quarterly disclosurechecklists and management of quarterly XBRL process

  • Coordinate the quarterly peer companyfiling and SEC comment letter review and analysis

  • Monitor new accounting guidance andexposure drafts issued by the FASB/SEC and manage quarterly group meetings; assistwith the implementation of new accounting standards

  • Perform technical accounting andreporting research, including writing position papers

  • Lead/participate on projects andinitiatives as they arise

  • Supervise one direct report

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree inAccounting

  • CPA with a minimum of 5 years ofexperience at a public accounting firm

  • Advanced Microsoft-based applicationand database skills

  • Excellent oral and writteninterpersonal skills

  • A strong sense of urgency and workethic with the ability to work in an organized and detailed manner under tightdeadlines and a customer service focus for delivering on and anticipatingrequests
