Overview:

The Director, ISC Services will report directly to the Vice President of Integrated Supply Chain and will provide leadership and accountability for overall strategic and tactical activities of the end to end material planning, receiving, warehouse, and shipping functions, as well as EHS and Facilities support.

This critical business role will :

  • Strive to provide a high level of internal customer service by compliantly working to increase transactional speed across the PC&L function

  • Lead all aspects for SIOP Coordination, Master Scheduling, Material Planning, Production Control, Warehouse Management, Shipping, and Receiving.

  • Create a work culture and environment for the PC&L team that has a focus on doing whatever it takes to compliantly produce goods and services on time and under budget

  • Partner with program management, engineering, and other supply chain disciplines to proactively plan, schedule, and effectively manage development, production, and aftermarket support environments

  • Provide leadership in all aspects of material planning and production control.

  • Deploy a material movement approach consistent with the Lean principles of Flow and Pull

  • Manage inventory levels, material flow, and logistics among suppliers, plants and customers to achieve targeted delivery lead times while minimizing working capital investment.

  • Develop and execute strategies to ensure procedural and execution compliance to the FAR and DFARS and subsequent Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) approval resulting from Materials Management and Accounting System (MMAS) reviews.

  • Assure world-class staffing to exceed the strategic and tactical goals of the business.

  • Provide leadership and guidance for the EHS and Facilities associated with environmental / safety regulation compliance, building maintenance, grounds maintenance, custodial support, cafeteria support, organization of events, space assignments, etc.

  • Develop the overall strategy for continuous improvement for TMLS Environmental Health and Safety and Facilities Initiatives.

  • Direct project management activities associated with EHS and Facility projects

  • Provide process ownership for TMLS Business Continuity Plans

  • Lead the TMLS Safety Team

  • Provide technical expertise, strategic leadership, and support for all of TMLS’s various facilities, departments, (including all acquisitions) on regulatory compliance issues in Safety and Environmental Health.

  • Oversee the control of chemicals used by TMLS and any/all potential safety and environmental hazards used/present at all TMLS Sites

  • Maintain TMLS ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems accreditation and executed on associated continuous improvement initiatives

  • Establish EHS, Loss Prevention (LP), and Workers Compensation (WC) goals, objectives, and action plans

  • Ensure that TDS has the most suitable working environment for employees and their activities.

  • Manage substantial Capital, Point of Control, and Expense budgets associated with EHS and facility operations and improvements

  • Participate in due diligence activities for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or a closely related discipline in required. MBA desirable.

  • Experience managing within Department of Defense environment and interacting with DCAA and DCMA and ensuring compliance with applicable requirements.

  • Experience preparing for and successfully executing of Material Management Accounting System (MMAS) review preferre

  • APICS certification is preferred.
