Software configuration management andmaintenance of current and future software baselines
Build automation for current and futuresoftware baselines
Document work done as required by SCM processes
Maintenance of legacy installation packages fordesktop products
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, ComputerEngineering or related field with 5 years’ experience
Excellent communication skills
Strong background in Windows and LINUX platformadministration
Working knowledge of code and scripting (PHP,Python, Ruby, etc.)
Experience with SCM systems (ClearCase, TFS,Perforce, etc.)
Experience with automating build systems,managing software systems, and systems configuration
Experience with automation packages such asJenkins, Salt, Puppet, etc.
Ability to deploy solutions using open sourcetechnologies and cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
Ability to work independently, a mature,‘self-starter’ that does not require close supervision
Good understanding of software developmentmethodologies and the entire software development process
Experience in a small team environment
Applicants must have experience and technicalleadership to collaborate with the software engineering group to deploy andmaintain the Source Code Management (SCM) and build systems for advancedgeospatial analysis software. Successful candidates will:
Have demonstrated the ability to develop andmaintain SCM and build systems for a large, complex software project
Possess good organizational and communicationskills enabling the candidate to work within and between integrated teams andperform a variety of tasks (maximum flexibility) in a dynamic team environment
Possess the technical experience and backgroundto troubleshoot and resolve issues within the development, test, and productionenvironments.
