Looking for an exciting career in Aviation Simulation and Training? TRU Simulation Training, Inc. is currently seeking candidates for a Latitude CE-680 Instructor Pilot position in Lutz, FL.
The Latitude CE-680 Instructor Pilot must be a highly-motivated team player that has the ability to perform in a dynamic environment. This candidate will be responsible for coordinating, planning and conducting regulatory compliance reviews as they relate to compliance requirements.
Provide professional simulator and ground instruction in accordance with the Company’s Policies, Procedures and Training Curriculum. Maintain compliancy with all applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements relating to Company’s business.
Perform those flight instructor duties authorized by the FAA and in accordance with the Company’s Training Curriculum.
Ensures satisfactory progress throughout the course and immediately inform the Director of Training of any delays in training or unsatisfactory progress.
Ensures that all client training records are updated continually throughout each training evolution.
Ensures that course standards, training requirements and objectives are met by all assigned students/clients as stipulated in the applicable Training Course Outline.
Set an example to all other instructors in providing the highest quality instruction, testing and customer service to clients.
Assist the Director of Training in the development of the Company’s training devices and courseware.
Report immediately any discrepancies, violations, non-compliance issues or regulatory concerns that occur with the simulator and courseware as stated in the SWMS manual. Supports the process of continual improvement of curriculum and courseware.
Attend administrative, standardization, in-service training and instructor development meetings as assigned.
Maintain and update own Operations Manual and comply with all Company policies.
Be an Ambassador for Company’s training model.
Keep up with new technologies.
Q ualifications and Experience:
Must have good listening and communication skills. Identifies client concerns and recommendations during the flight and ground courseware.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
Looking for one or more of these qualifications:
Education / FAA License:
EASA Qualified preferred
Must hold a current flight or ground instructor certificate or a current teacher’s certificate or its equivalent.
Must hold a pilot certificate and flight instructor certificate with airplane, multi-engine land category and class rating, instrument rating and, when appropriate, a type rating when instructing in aircraft.
Must satisfactorily complete training requirements prior to initial designation.
Must meet the aeronautical experience requirements of FAR 61.159.
