Managing Director EUR/RUS - Sales&Marketing
Leads Bell Helicopter’s commercial marketing and sales efforts in the assigned region.
Responsible for customer relationships with goverments, foreign military and commercial customers.
Translates market research into a successful commercial sales regional strategy focused on meeting objectives and bringing revenue and profit to Bell Helicopter and Textron.
Guides regional sales team in strategy execution, from branding, to sourcing to effective sales event execution including trade show planning and participation.
Identifies and develops opportunities to grow regional market share, develop relationships for longer term sales prospects and respond to tenders aligned with the global sales strategy for product sales and manufacturing partnership opportunities.
Represents Bell as appropriate in the local public media, providing interviews and attending industry events as the Bell representative.
Mentors, coaches and develops regional Marketing & Sales team and organization leaders.
Keeps direct reports informed and aligned with Bell Helicopter vision, mission and objectives, expectations, compliance and behaviors.
Works with functional support leaders in Program Management, Finance, Legal, CSS and Human Resources in the daily management of business.
Partners with development and engineering teams to incorporate Voice of the Customer feedback into new products and modifications.
Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business or related field. MBA/MS preferred.
Knowledge of rotorcraft, competitive rotary wing aircraft, vertical UAVs and regional market.
Prior Sales experience with large technical products with Aerospace or Aviation preferred.
Demonstrated prior contract and business law experience.
Excellent leadership, execution and communication skills.
