Finance Manager - Dusselsdorf



Responsible for managing one or more of the following: annual planning, monthly forecasting, standard and adhoc analysis, capital planning, overhead and headcount analysis. This position serves as liaison between the Finance organization and the European Aftermarket Service Center Operations team.


  1. Manages, coordinates and helps direct the development of the Long Range Plan (LRP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP), including requesting specific information from organizations, ensuring information is accurate and providing analytical comparisons and trends.

  2. Manages and plans financial activities related to strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, headcount requirements and overhead expense.

  3. Responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting financial reports and making recommendations to Service Center management.

  4. Responsible for collecting and submitting information, financials or analysis for Textron Aviation on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis to support timely and effective decision making.

  5. Directs and provides analytical support for various levels of presentations by senior leadership.

  6. Oversees and develops a team of finance business partners.

  7. Establishes good working relationships with cross-functional management and facilitates communication between the Aftermarket Service Center Ops Team and Finance.

  8. Assists Director Finance with the overall planning and financial guidance for the various activities within a specific organization.

  9. Maintains and develops professional, financial and general business skills of themselves and their staff through professional and financial training, product familiarization, etc.

  10. Perform special projects and ad-hoc financial reporting as required.



  • Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance, or other related fields

  • 5 years as individual contributor (finance business partner or accountant)

  • Previous experience with managing direct reports is not required but is a plus

  • SAP and Hyperion experience a plus
