Aircraft Furniture Materials Cutter - 2nd shift
To cut, identify and stage a variety of materials.
Works from work orders, specifications, and oral and written instructions to provide correct materials and patterns as required for composites parts fabrication. Operates the manual cutting of materials.
Prepares proper materials to be cut and maintains proper angle and radii of cut.
Routinely inspects fixtures for damage, inventories, and rotates kits and materials.
Maintains all necessary documentation.
Maintains storage recording charts as required. Clocks all routings upon completion of cut and kit operations.
Assist with staging of materials for lay-up.
Uses a variety of hand tools such as scissors, knives, markers, scale and tape, saws and router.
Wears protective clothing and keeps work area clean as required of a controlled and contaminate free environment.
Responsible only for own work.
Performs other related duties as required.

High school education or equivalent and Textron Aviation’s blueprint reading class preferred.
6 months of related experience.
